Karis Community turned 50 on May 12, 2026, and we celebrated this milestone by raising an incredible $53,000 through our Spring Fundraiser Paddle Raiser in support of our Hope & Healing Infrastructure Campaign.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 to make meaningful upgrades to our historic home on Detroit Street, creating a more welcoming, comfortable, and healing environment for the individuals we serve.

With Your Support, We Will Add:
- Modernized, welcoming interiors featuring upgraded lighting, calming color schemes, and comfortable common areas, transforming dated spaces into an environment that fosters healing, connection, and a sense of home.
- A dedicated meditation room designed to foster mindfulness, reflection, and inner calm, providing Community Members with a peaceful retreat that supports their recovery journey.
- A cozy outdoor gathering space with a new gazebo designed for year-round use, creating a comfortable, sheltered area that expands opportunities for social connection and access to nature in all seasons.

- Named as “Transform a Space” donor on a plaque in a room of the donor's choice (Gallery, TV Room, or Meditation Room) + full recognition
- $2,500: Funds new lighting in the Dining Room — one of the most utilized spaces in the home.

- $1,000: Helps fund a secure key fob entry system for exterior doors, enhancing safety, accessibility, and peace of mind for Community Members.
