& 50 Years of Karis!

anniversary of our historic building, we are reimagining our space to better meet the mental health and recovery needs of our Community Members. To achieve this, we have launched a trauma-informed infrastructure campaign to upgrade our home on Detroit Street. Your support can make a big difference! Please take a look at the documents below for more information on how you can get involved, receive recognition for your generosity, and make a lasting impact on our Community Members.

All gifts of $500 or more, will be recognized on our donor plaque. Donors $5,000 or more are eligible for naming opportunities.

With Your Support, We Will Add:  

  • Modernized, welcoming interiors featuring upgraded lighting, calming color schemes, and cozy furniture, transforming dated common areas into an environment that fosters healing, connection, and a sense of home.
  • A dedicated meditation room designed to promote mindfulness, reflection, and inner calm, offering Community Members a peaceful retreat that supports their recovery journey.
  • A comfortable, outdoor gathering space with a new gazebo designed for year-round use, creating a comfortable and sheltered area that extends opportunities for social connection and access to nature in all seasons.

  • $100: Funds the paint and primer to refresh a room.
  • $250: Funds pots, planters, or sand for a Zen Garden to further enhance our beautiful backyard.
  • $500: Funds outdoor plants or seating for the backyard.
  • $1,000: Funds new chairs, ottomans, and décor to enhance common spaces.
  • $2,500: Funds the installation of pavers, gravel, and sand base under the gazebo.

Naming Opportunities!!

  • $5,000: Funds the full renovation of a key common room, including furniture and paint.
  • $10,000: Funds a gazebo with wicker furniture.
